Dear Mr Braviner Roman

I wish to express my sadness at the resignation of David Blunkett, Home Secretary.

He was seen throughout the UK as the voice of decency and hope in the Labour Government.  He was helping me to sort out medical scandals and to make the UK safer for all patients.

Having read this mornings newspaper about Lord Hoffmann, I now write to bring something to your urgent attention as I fear that Lord Hoffman may have been undermined by the Kent CPS?  Copies of some of my communications to Lord Hoffmann via the Court of Appeal are attached.
