FIRST READ ABOUT ‘ELECTIONS’ IN A POLICE STATE
Document
‘Dictator-31-Oct-03
To
The Rt. Hon. Charles Kennedy MP - & every LibDem
I hope you got the letter sent to you &
Iain Duncan Smith by my brother Jack (12/10/03).
I hope you
will NOT respond as did an office boy for Iain Duncan Smith “It is a strict Parliamentary convention
(cop-out more like!) that MPS only take up
matters for their own constituents”. What happens if one’s own MP
is completely corrupt (or a spineless puppet?)
My brother’s letter was not about ME
– but about a terrorist Police State, with ‘Gestapo’ Police, Kangaroo Courts, & sophisticated British
Belsens – which is Britain today! Are you as much
a part of it as Blair & the supposed ‘Opposition’ Party – who sent our troops to kill & be killed
in Iraq? A State which was party to the assassination of Lawyer Patrick
Finucane in Northern Ireland.
You owe me for
what I did for the LibDem candidate at the 1997 General Election in Chesterfield - one of only four seats in the country
where the massive swing to Labour was reversed! I was actually standing
there myself as an Independent Old Age Pensioner – but I told my supporters NOT to vote for me,
but for YOUR candidate (Tim Rogers?)who got the 3,500 votes that would have come to me.
(WHY I did so, & why I stood against Tony Benn is
told elsewhere.)
IF your concern for Human Rights, Justice & the Rule
of Law, is genuine, & not as false as that of Blair & I.D.S., you
CAN be the next Prime Minister, leading a Party with a massive majority – AND
restore the people’s faith in Parliament & Democracy!
(REDUCED SIZE COPY
OF THE LETTER FROM MY BROTHER BELOW, IN
CASE IT DID NOT REACH YOU)
From Jack Scarth, 59, Gledhow Park Avenue, LEEDS LS7 4JL. 12th
October 2003.
Imminent murder by the ‘humane’ Blair & Blunkett regime!!
For the IMMEDIATE ATTENTION of Iain Duncan Smith MP, Charles Kennedy MP – & the whole wide
world!
My brother, Norman
Scarth was a World War 2 Hero, serving on the terrible Russian Convoys & in the Scharnhorst battle. He worked honestly & hard thereafter, with a blameless record.
He stood for Parliament
at the 1997 General Election as an ‘Independent Old Age Pensioner’. The
main point of his manifesto was his concern at the LACK of concern from regular politicians at the increasing
number of violent & murderous attacks on the vulnerable & the old, unheard of at one time. He intended to stand against Tony Blair at the 2001 General Election.
Could such a man suddenly
become a vicious or dangerous criminal? Yet, for a first supposed
‘offence’, he is now incarcerated in Wolds Prison, serving a sentence longer than his life
expectation! He is a Political Prisoner – just as much as any in Zimbabwe!
As a special
treat for his 78th birthday he was dragged (literally) to the Punishment Block! There is NO
justification for such fiendish treatment – whatever the excuse! The real
reason is that it is punishment for his starvation diet, protesting against the criminal maltreatment of himself & others
in prison. He has lost four stone so far.
In ‘Prisongate’,
the new book by Sir David Ramsbotham (‘retired’ from his post as HM Ch. Insp. Of Prisons by Jack Straw), we
are learning of some of the horror in our prisons. NONE
could be worse than this. Do the opposition parties care? Does the poppy wearing British public care? You - &
the nation - owe my brother. Allow these monsters to continue, by turning
a blind eye & a deaf ear, & you will be as guilty as they are.
Blair & Blunkett
are anxious to build more prisons. Why?
As extermination camps for the old?
His death
from a heart attack will of course be classed as ‘death from natural causes’!
It WILL be murder. Is this a civilized country? Is this the country for which my brother & his shipmates fought 60 years ago?
It is more
like the one they fought against. Blair achieved power through
‘Democracy’. So did Hitler.
Blair is (was) a very popular leader. So was Hitler. He too used a ‘clamp down on crime’ as an excuse to build a Police State. There was a price to be paid. There will be again.
Act now, or you will be too late. It will be to your everlasting shame!
The Home Secretary
has power to release on ‘Compassionate Grounds’. Has David Blunkett
ANY compassion for my brother? |
Extracts from article
by Judge Sir Stephen Tumim, (HM Chief Inspector of Prisons from
1987 to 1995), reviewing the book ‘PRISONGATE’, by his successor, General Sir David Ramsbotham, also
‘retired’ for being honest. The Sunday Times (Culture Section),
5th October 2003, Page 40.
PRISONGATE. The shocking State of Britain’s Prisons & the need for Visionary Change.
Sir Stephen writes:
“When I left
the Inspectorate, I remember someone very senior in the Home Office gloating to me, ‘We have found a man to replace
you who will do what he’s told, a soldier, not a judge’. The Home
Office, as so often in the past, had got it wrong”.
“Sir David,
doubtless a most dutiful General, was no more inclined than I was to do what he was told.
He went his own way.”
Sir Stephen tells
how Sir David kept the words of Winston Churchill on his desk:
‘The
mood & temper of the public, in regard to the treatment of crime & criminals, is one of the most unfailing tests of
the civilisation off any country. … there is a treasure, if you can only find it, in the heart of every man …
the
treatment of crime & criminals, mark & measure the stored-up strength of a nation … sign & proof of the
living virtue in it’.”
Sir Stephen continues,
“Ramsbotham sets out clearly the failure of a number of individual prisons. …
Perhaps the worst story was that of Blantyre House, which in my day, under a remarkable Governor, was one of the most effective
prisons of all … . Ramsbotham’s account of what went wrong
illustrates the failures of the higher command of prisons more effectively than anything I have read elsewhere.
‘Ministers
adopted exactly the same attitude towards the Home Affairs Select Committee’s report on the raid on Blantyre House as
they had to unpleasant prison inspection reports: say nothing & pretend it
didn’t happen’.”
Not mentioned by
Sir Stephen were the word of Sir David writing of his ‘deep shock’ at hearing of women prisoners giving birth
in chains, & a midwife telling him: ‘I’m an Ibo from Nigeria
where they are meant to be less civilised than here. But … I have never
seen anything so inhuman & disgusting as they treat women in Holloway’.
He continued: “What we found in the segregation unit at Wandsworth, in the ‘Health
Care’ (?) Centre at Brixton …sometimes you just thought, my God, how can they be doing this? The fact that these things could be going on in Britain disturbed me very much”.
What neither of those
two eminent men mention is the hostility of all prison staff (doctors & Chaplains included!)
towards prisoners who claim innocence – especially to those who try to prove it without a lawyer! They repeat the parrots cry, “See your solicitor”.
The tragedy is not
that such things can happen, but that the British people allow it, believing (as they are constantly told by the media)
that our prisons are ‘Holiday Camps’.
