My first ever pet was a beautiful yellow Lutino Budgie, called Cassie. She passed away at seven years of age [which
is quite old for a Lutino.] One of Cassie's great features was her boldness. She wasn't afraid of anything, not even
Cassey [our first dog.] Infact Cassie was always biting the dog, which I thought was hilarious.
At the moment I have an orange Canary who's three years old and called Pumpkin. This is because when
he fluffs up he kinda looks like one. His hobbies include singing until the crack of dawn, admiring himself in the mirror
and annoying the Cockatiels.
I have a pair of brother and sister Cockatiels - one called Rose and the other called Joshua. Even though they look
identical, their temperaments are totally different. For instance Joshua is shy and Rose is outgoing.
They were hand-reared by a gentleman who sadly passed away. His son, who owned the pet shop, planned to keep them,
but I persuaded him that I would take good care of them both; so he agreed to let me have them.
I have only one Budgie due to the fact that she is a killer bird. Sadly she can not live with other Budgies,
so I decided to mix her with Rose and Joshua. At first she tried to bully them; she soon found out that they are bigger
and stronger than her though. That came as a shock to her because she is large and stocky herself.
I also have a variety of tropical and cold water fish. Most people disagree with them being mixed in the same tank,
but I have managed to reach a temperature that agrees with both types of fish. It is around 24 celsius. I have
two beautiful Silver Sharks called Salt and Pepper, a pair of Black Moores named Jaws and Lenix, a couple of Sword Fish called
Slim Jim and Carla, a Cat Fish called Kat and a Glass Cat called Ghost. I also have a Red Cap Oriander whose
name is Peach.
