Toilet training a puppy can take several months.  All pups have accidents - they don't do it on purpose, they just have weak bladders.  So don't blame them if you have several puddles on the floor!

Toilet training a puppy can be very simple if a dog crate is at hand, but it can also prove very difficult without one.  Dogs are clean animals and will not soil their sleeping quarters unless they have no other choice.  When toilet training a dog, keep him in the crate and let him out into the garden every hour.  When he does his dirty deed in the right place, praise him with lots of cuddles and affection.  Keep doing this for as long as you need to and you will be on the way to owning a house-clean pet.
